Most Pumps Suck - But not Enough. The MVP solves this by removing up to 8x more oxygen than any other portable vacuum system. When we compared the MVP to the most common mason jar vacuum system on Amazon we discovered the MVP removes 80% of the Oxygen from the juice compared to 10% - Most Pumps Suck - But not Enough
Manual vs. Electric? Manual pumps pull more vacuum and they do it faster, in many cases 6 seconds vs. 40 seconds per jar. Electric pumps vary from 10%-50% oxygen removal. The MVP Pump reliably pulls 80-85% oxygen removal or, for the engineers out there, 80-85kPa.
Ten Strokes and You're Done. When a mason jar is filled to within 1/2" - 1-1/2" of the rim, maximum vacuum 80-85% oxygen removal is achieved in 7-10 strokes or approximately six seconds.
Vacuum Sealing - The rule is simple: the less oxygen, the longer the shelf life. Storing juice with 80-85% of the oxygen removed maintains the fresh taste and can double the storage life. This allows you to prep juice only once a week.
