The reason, “two machines are required”, is because with a centrifugal or masticating juicer there is no practical way to mix the pulp. With a two-stage juicer the ground up produce can be mixed in a bowl after trituration. The reason this is important is because when the ground up apple is mixed with other vegetables, the mineral and nutrient content is raised by 10% or more.
